New Kentucky Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship provides students with additional publishing opportunities

Morehead State University has long supported research efforts of students through the Undergraduate Research Fellowship program and the annual Celebration of Student Scholarship. In fact, MSU students may participate in a research fellowship program as early as their freshman year, providing them with hands-on research experience prior to graduation. Now students have another opportunity to showcase their work. The Kentucky Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship (KJUS) is the first multidisciplinary online journal that will publish original research and creative works by undergraduate students currently enrolled at post-secondary educational institutions across Kentucky.

Topics in the journal will vary by discipline, and will be categorized into on of several domains including:

  • Life sciences
  • Engineering
  • Social sciences
  • Humanities
  • Creative writing
  • Performance arts
For more information, contact Dr. Jonathan Gore, executive editor, at Jonathan.Gore@eku.edu.

KJUS will begin accepting submissions on Aug. 17, 2015.
