MSU has nursing options for students at every level

Whether you are an incoming freshman or a working professional looking to take your career to the next level, Morehead State offers a nursing program to suit your needs. We offer the following nursing degrees:
  • Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) – this program is designed for first-time students.
  • Paramedic–to–RN Associate Degree Nursing Program-designed for students who are already licensed paramedics who are seeking a degree in nursing.
  • Nursing pre-licensure program- this program is designed for incoming, first-time students who are interested in a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Nursing post-licensure program- this online program is designed for licensed nurses who are seeking a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

MSU’s nursing programs give you hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art Center for Health, Education, & Research (CHER). There, students will work with simulation mannequins that mimic a range of ailments and symptoms and respond to treatments. Students are also required to complete clinical requirements, giving them hands-on experience with live patients in real-world medical settings.
Morehead State’s nursing programs have a selective admissions process, and a limited number of students are accepted each year.
