Health Promotion programs prepare you for a career in wellness

If a career of promoting a healthy lifestyle interests you, consider the health promotion program at Morehead State. Our program will teach you how to help individuals and communities achieve and maintain wellness through diet, exercise and education.

Through courses in anatomy, nutrition, health counseling and more, you’ll gain the knowledge to help people be healthy. You’ll also participate in clinical practicums that will give you the hands-on skills employers are looking for in job candidates.
Graduates of the program go on to pursue careers in school systems, healthcare, prevention, health education, wellness coordination and more.

Those already holding a health-related bachelor’s degree can advance their career with our wellness promotion master’s degree program.  The program is offered completely online and can be completed in as little as one year. Upon graduation, you will be academically qualified for leadership and managerial positions in worksite wellness programs, university recreation and wellness centers, community wellness facilities, hospitals, clinics and more.
