MSU now offering intelligence studies certificates

If you are interested in a career that will allow you to make our nation more secure, Morehead State University now offers undergraduate and graduate certificates in intelligence studies.  The certificate programs will give you the skills to detect, monitor and neutralize security threats for companies, industries and government agencies.

You can take classes to earn your intelligence studies certificate while you earn your bachelor’s or master’s degree, and the certificates complement degrees from a wide range of other fields. If you’ve already earned your degree, you can earn your intelligence studies certificate as a post-baccalaureate or graduate student.

As a student pursuing the certification, you’ll take classes in government, computer science, criminology and more. The undergraduate certificate offers several specialization options, which will prepare you for a career in a specific intelligence-related field. Specialization options include:
  • Intelligence collection and analysis
  • Threat specialist
  • Regional analysis
  • Science and technology
  • Global finance and governance
A certificate in intelligence will prepare you for a career in law enforcement, homeland security, computer security and much more.
